Françoise Long’s classes are excellent.  It’s hard to find someone who is good at giving classes to an advanced student, like I am.
Françoise finds a great variety of material at my level, ranging from French culture to grammar.
On the Zoom she uses the chat to develop vocabulary, and we speak mostly in French. And of course to find a native speaker to give professional lessons is a real find! 20/20!

This course, I sincerely appreciate you taking the time with me during these few months. There is a stark difference between the student I was (afraid of making mistakes/taking much time to answer), compared to now (less timid when speaking, still taking a bit of time to answer/allowing myself to make mistakes in order to grow as a student). This time with you has really shown me the impact of how neglectful my hearing/speaking/creating sentences has been to my learning; every little gain I have in those areas makes a tremendous impact in my overall understanding.

“I took French A2 with Francoise Long during the winter quarter via Zoom. I am quite happy with the amount of vocabulary I acquired, and the improvement of my French grammar. The amount of material we covered regarding useful skills for travel and conversation was notable and we often discussed the culture, food and geography of France. Francoise is a very personable teacher who was born and raised in France… She was fun teacher and made learning quite enjoyable. The biggest issue with the class was the Zoom platform. We often had trouble connecting and links would have to be sent out several times…”
